The Graduate School is one of the eleven colleges and schools of Vanderbilt University and is responsible for handling all aspects of the graduate student experience. This includes processing applications, managing admissions and registration, monitoring academic progress, milestones (such as residency, qualifying exams, candidacy, and dissertation defense), and conferring graduate degrees.

Our office is open for walk-in assistance Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays, by appointment only.
