Eugenia Zavaleta, a 6th-year Anthropology student, took part in the Latin American Studies Association conference at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. She participated in the panel titled “Reparations, Resistance, and Reimagining Just Futures in the Americas” and presented a paper titled “Living in Denial and Invalidation: The Historical Consequences of the War on Salvadoran Youth. Three Case Studies to Understand the U.S. Funding of the War in El Salvador and the Future of Youth.”
