The Graduate School would like to celebrate the following students:
Alyssa Nelson & Jeremy Espano – taught a class in nanoscience and nanotechnology to a group of 8th and 9th graders as part of the Saturday Academy at Vanderbilt for the Young (SAVY) program. SAVY serves gifted and high-achieving students in kindergarten through grade 6 throughout the year. During the summer, students who have completed 6th or 7th grade (rising 7th or 8th) are eligible to participate in Career Connections at SAVY, a day program within SAVY designed specifically for this age group.
Epidemiology Ph.D. student, Meghan Corriere – recently defended her thesis titled “Non-Opioids Prescribed for Non-Cancer Chronic Pain and Risk of Cardiovascular Outcomes”. In January she started employment as Senior Manager in the Real World Evidence Division with Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
Congratulations all!
