All postdocs (VU and VUMC) are eligible to access these services with the exception of visiting postdocs.

Graduate Life Coach

Work/Life Connections-EAP

The Postdoc Wellness Program of Work/Life Connections-EAP promotes psychological resilience and supports personal and professional well-being. The program strives to empower all postdocs as they develop their strengths, refine their skills, and establish their professional identities. Services include counseling by appointment, on-call crisis counseling, and performance coaching.

How do I schedule an appointment with the EAP
To schedule a confidential appointment with the EAP, call 615-936-1327, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM. In the event of an emergency or crisis, an EAP counselor on call is available by calling 615-936-1327 during business hours. On holidays, weekends, and after-hours an answering service will answer the phone and an EAP provider will call you back directly.

  • Postdoctoral Scholar, Trainee (VU)
  • Research Fellow (VUMC)
  • Research Fellow Trainee (VUMC)

 

Occupational Health

Occupational Health is available to support your physical health needs. Faculty/Staff Express Care offers walk-in services for minor infections such as colds, sinus infections, sore throat, bronchitis, and ear infections. You may also obtain a consultation from the main Occupational Health Clinic in Suite 640, Medical Arts.

 

 Health Plus

Health Plus is a national and state award winning program that offers a wide array of services and programs designed to identify and reduce health risks and to meet the needs of Vanderbilt’s diverse population.
