Vanderbilt Postdoctoral Association

The Vanderbilt Postdoctoral Association (VPA), formally known as the Postdoctoral Association (PDA), was established in 1998 and provides a range of opportunities for postdoctoral scholars. The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) has a close, collaborative partnership with the VPA. All Vanderbilt postdoctoral appointees are encouraged and welcome to participate in the VPA which hosts a variety of events and programs throughout the year including:

  • Monthly seminars (held on the 1st Thursday of each month from 12:00-1:00 PM)
  • Social events including an annual picnic and holiday luncheon
  • Spring Research & Shared Resources Symposium

Weekly VPA emails announcing events and other important information are sent to all postdoctoral scholars. Simply send the email generated by this link to self-subscribe to the gspostdocs LISTSERV.    Be sure to confirm the email request sent to you from LISTSERV to complete the process.

Learn more about the VPA at their website and like their Facebook page.
